Lina Kim
(b. 1965 - Sao Paolo) Lives and works in Berlin
Graduated by FAAP (Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado) in São Paulo, Brazil and at
Art Students League in New York, USA.
The artist had participated at 25th São Paulo Biennale, Lima Biennale, Gwanju Biennale, Havanna Biennale with site specific installations. She had also presented her works in shows such as Focus Istanbul (Martin Gropius Bau, Berlin, 2005), Lugar Nenhum (Instituto Moreira Salles, RJ, 2013), Fototrier Stadtmuseum Simeonestift (Trier, 2010) and At home (The Columns, Seoul, 2014).
Kim works with site specific installations, drawings, photography and video. Her main concern is nature and architectural aspects of places, contemplating contemporary issues about man and society, future and its stabilities and instabilities.
